OLD LYME ZONING COMMISSION
MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING
Monday, June 19, 2006
The Old Lyme Zoning Commission held a Special Meeting on Monday, June 19, 2006, in the Auditorium of Memorial Town Hall. Those present and voting were Jane Marsh (Secretary) John Johnson, Jane Cable and Steven Ames (Alternate). Also present was Ann Brown, Zoning Enforcement Officer.
1. Convene meeting; announcement of voting alternates.
Acting Chairman Marsh called the Special Meeting to order at 7:02 p.m.
2. Regulation Rewrite.
Section 8 – Area, Yard and Height Requirements
8.1.1 – Measurement of Total Floor Area – Change definition to indicated that the floor area includes any interior area that has a minimum of 6’ ceilings.
8.2.3 – Please indicate that this does not include chimneys.
9.1.3 – Fourth line change to read: “. . . shall be constructed on such Lot. Nor shall any . . .”
9.2.3 – Change Non to “No.”
9.4 Change Special Exception to Special Permit.
9.6.2 – Change title to read “Change of Regulations as They Effect Plans.”
9.7.1 - Add time frames: Mylars submitted within 90 days of approval; recorded within 90 days of endorsement and work must commence with 18 months.
3. Adjourn.
The meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m. on a motion by Jane Cable; seconded by John Johnson and voted unanimously.
